Hallo zusammen, ich bin auch neu. Ich habe noch nie einen Topf gewechselt. Mir ist gerade aufgefallen, dass einige Wurzeln außerhalb des Topfes wachsen. Ist es ein Zeichen, einen größeren Topf zu wechseln? Oder kann ich es einfach in Ruhe lassen? Danke schön! Sehr geschätzt!

Hey! Yes seeing roots grow outside of the pot means you should upsize the pot. I wouldn’t do anything drastic as it could shock the plant and kill it. I would also recommend changing the soil when doing a repot as well. You can just remove as much soil as possible and give it a rinse and I’d spray it with some hydrogen peroxide after removing any mushy or dead roots and then repotting. Also make sure to use clean scissors or shears. Hope that helps!
I would take it out of the pot and look at the roots. Some stray roots will always find their way out the bottom, but it doesn’t need to be repotted until the roots are circled around the bottom of the pot & root bound, the soil is drying out too quickly after watering, or the plant is showing signs of stress with no other explanation.
If you do need to repot, I wouldn’t change the soil it’s in if it’s in a decent mix – moving/untangling/or otherwise messing with the roots just adds more stress to the plant. Remove any mushy/rotted roots, and just plop it into new soil.
