Ooh lovely window! If you’re new then I highly recommend a pothos of any variety – they’re so easy and grow fast. That’s how I got hooked on plants! Plus, they’re suuuuuper easy to propagate so you can make more plants 😍

Don’t forget to post the windowsill when it’s full 😅😅

I’ve pretty much maxed out all space in my living room window. The only space left is just for my cat. My elephant ears, pothos, and succulents especially love the window. I always just throw plants up there, monitor for burning, turn them regularly and have never had a problem with anything really.

I would recommend an aglaonema of some sorts, mostly because I love how chill and easy-to-grow they are and the light setting would be great for them.
Or maybe a little monstera adansonii would look good there, with the light shining through the holes. 🙂

Hanging aeschynanthus japhrolepis, mine has already bloomed twice this summer

    5. I have a west facing window as well. I have a Pilea plant (2 plants in one pot) and it’s doing wonderfully !!!!

Also, sarracena and venus fly traps specifically are super easy with regards to watering because you can just set the pot in a bowl of water and keep it topped off. super easy, barely an inconvenience.

This year I’ve seen two flies in my kitchen, I got a sarracena and I didn’t see them the next day; in summers past I’ve had soooo many flies. And!!! it’s been chowing down on all the Asian beetles that move in during cooler weather!
