Hardly to say yet. You have to wait longer to see new leaves. Then you will know for sure.

Pomegranate is a tree?
It could just be me, but neither of these plants look like a tree to me and especially not pomegranate. At least where I am pomegranate is a scraggly short tree with a lot of fruit
