      It might be time to repot.  Are roots growing out of the drain holes?  Humidity dropping can also lead to crispy leaves.

      I’m no expert on calatheas, but I’ve heard browning leaves are usually a sign of underwatering or damage from minerals in tap water. That’s a very common problem, so don’t beat yourself too hard over that one.

      Edit: mislabeled it as a maranta instead of calathea, waiting for the pitchforks, lol.
