Hey everybody! Maybe you seen the post that was posted on this page not that long ago about the shampoo plant! I was so interested and amazed by the plant I did a lot of research and wanted to possibly grow one of my own! I went into work today which is at my universities greenhouse and was amazed when I spotted a familiar friend! She smells heavenly and really does make your hair smell and feel amazing!

They have these in Hana, Maui. According to the guide, these were used by the local women. There is another species with a more āmasculineā smell . Beautiful!

I think itās valuable to acknowledge that this isnāt a ānewā way to wash hair and is actually a very long-standing method used by native Hawaiians and other indigenous Peoples
Edit: I want to clarify that I understand this can still be considered a new way by those not previously accustomed, but I just wanted to acknowledge that the method itself isnāt new.
