The house I grew up in had a huge concord grape vine in the back yard. Every summer we’d haul bags and bags of grapes to my grandmother’s house and spend a day making jelly. I can still smell that jelly smell and picture her adding a layer of wax to each jar.

I make blueberry jam. So easy and so good!
If your family enjoys the grape, try some with blueberries! Once, it came out too thin for jam. I guess i didn’t cook it long enough. But, we used it on pancakes.
OP, your little jars look so cute. Make more. You will be shocked how fast it will be all gone. Make more if you can, bigger jars. But if not, i love this. So cool, and feels so good to have something you made with your own hands.
Great job!

Big big respect to you. I did this twice with my grandparents’ concord/local slipskin grapes. Your reward comes late winter when you get tasty homemade jam!

I hope you made some custom labels for all of that hard work! Should absolutely have your name on them! Be prideful in all of the work and effort it took you to get there!

Can someone explain why the jelly is purple but the grapes are green?
