Hallo zusammen!

I’ve gotten plants to move to soil but it takes time and isn’t foolproof. Once every couple days I’ll throw some soil in the jar of water until it’s mostly soil, then let it dry up just a little before replanting
I planted hydro lavender with roots like yours. Just don’t whack it out into full sun immediately. It will take time to train it for full sun. Start with early morning sun for an hour then shade. Ramp it up over time. Otherwise she’s cooked.
Basil I did successfully just like the mason jar you have. I didn’t let the roots grow that long but I moved it into a small pot with potting soil, let it grow and when I saw it was leggy and needed more light, I slowly introduced it daily to morning sun and in about a week, it went outside permanently; at least for the summer. It’s been growing really well since in full sun.
