I report like 10 or more of these a day to Google as fraud. I don’t know that it actually makes a difference but it can’t hurt.
Report this shit- it preys on people who are vulnerable like the elderly and people who are mentally unwell and it’s disgusting and can not be tolerated.
No one deserves to be scammed.
Edited to add: this sort of shit does not only affect people you don’t like and think « deserve it. » It ruins lives, letting it go on doesn’t help families or friends realize granny is losing her faculties, and it helps scammers find new ways to prey on people. People with dementia, people experiencing a manic episode, people who aren’t in their right mind, and even people who are genuinely stupid don’t deserve to be scammed.
Saying « I know people who deserve it » is vile and you should be ashamed. It’s not funny and makes zero points besides showing the world that you don’t care about others.
Report scammers, advocate for your fellow human, be decent, good lord.

It should be illegal for advertisements to use AI. Most of the stems and pedals in this photo don’t make any fucking sense. Who even, as a dying breed of patriots, is even going to buy something with this fucked up and misrepresented of an American flag. The stars, stripes, and placement don’t even make fucking sense.
My mother in law believes in EVERY one of these “special” hostas. I keep 3 different kinds of hosta in my garden and she tells me every time I need to get the 🌈 rainbow hostas, the blue and black hostas, and the “moon glow” hostas and how they all stay year round… I don’t even bother telling her how fake all that s is anymore.
I grew one of these. However, one of the flags appears to be Chinese. Should I be worried?

Omg I had to tell my coworker that the electric blue hostas she was going to buy all used fake images. They weren’t quite this bad, but just as obviously fake. She didn’t believe me, it was crazy.
I have explained to my coworkers in their mid-late 50’s that hostas like these are fake, and they are politely skeptical of ME. God, AI and older people is like shooting fish in a barrel. They literally believe pictures are reality.
I mean.. if i could plant fake hostas, I think the deer might still try and eat them.

It basically says that the hostas feature “symbolic heart shaped foliage that honors American patriotic spirit”. Nothing about the flag motif, just the heart shaped foliage that is not uncommon to many hosta varieties.
And they want kind of a premium price for bare root hostas.
And the people who fall for this bs also VOTE.
