Hallo, reddit! Ich habe diese Frühlingszwiebeln letztes Jahr aus dem Laden gepflanzt und sie haben sich gut entwickelt, besonders im Winter. Jetzt wächst in der Mitte dieser beiden etwas, das die anderen nicht haben.

All plants produce some kind of bloom eventually, in this case scallion blooms do look like that.
If you’re growing these to eat, cut the scapes (blooms) off. If you’re growing for pollinators, let it grow.
Cutting them off shifts the plant’s focus from blooming to seed to growth instead.
