Ich habe also gerade einen Steinweg und die Membran darunter abgerissen und wollte etwas Muttererde und Rasen besorgen, um den Rasen bis zur Auffahrt zu verlängern. Muss ich vor dem Verlegen der obersten Erdschicht und des Rasens noch weiter ausgraben, oder reicht es aus, die verbleibenden Reste aufzufüllen?

You need to remove any hard-core. Then you need to break up the ground underneath with a fork, about the depth of the prongs on the fork, this is because thw groundwill be compact and not drain very well.. Make sure there is enough depth for between 100mm and 150mm of topsoil.
My turf was laid on hard-core and its doing fine. Not a suggestion to lay it down as I have to water it even when it rains lol. Dont ask me about it… its a landlord special lol
