Ich habe dieses superschlaffe Blatt von meiner Schlangenpflanze abgenommen und beschlossen, es abzustützen, da es noch nicht tot war und jetzt Mutter ist!! Was soll ich damit machen? Soll ich es schon topfen?
Ich habe nicht das Gefühl, dass es noch nicht genug Wurzeln hat, um eingetopft zu werden. Und falls/wann ich es eintopfe, gibt es irgendwelche Vorschläge zur Topfgröße? Ich weiß, dass es für die Wurzelgröße ein kleines braucht, aber es braucht Platz, damit das Baby herausspringen kann.
Wenn das Baby groß genug ist, um alleine zu sein, denke ich darüber nach, das große Blatt abzuschneiden, da es nicht das hübscheste ist, aber ich bin so froh, dass ich es retten konnte! Ist das eine schlechte Idee? Oder eine neutrale, bei der es so oder so egal ist?
Ich freue mich sehr über diese Requisite, da es meine erste Schlangenpflanzen-Requisite ist, die ich überhaupt versucht habe!

I personally would let it grow some more. keep it in water, but lower the amount of water so the roots and the stem are barely covered. Wait til the pup breaks the surface of the water and don’t keep it completely submerged. You basically have been growing it underwater, and it may freak out and dry out completely/die if you don’t do something like put it in a cloche or a container and slowly adjust it to natural humidity.
IF you want to try acclimating, here’s the pattern: To do so you basically put it in the cloche or clear container in a pot with potting mix, then close it up but leave it unsealed. Keep it in light. Then every day you just peel back or pull back the lid lightly to increase the airflow, until eventually it’s off. When the lid can come off, which should take about 10 days, you can move it wherever you want. This is a similar process you have to do to flasked plants, because acclimation is no joke. You can lose plants in acclimation. I used to do this just with a clear plastic tupperware container covered in saran wrap, poke a few holes in the saran wrap for the first day, then every day peel it away from a corner a bit at a time until it’s totally open. when it’s totally open, you can put it wherever since it should be acclimated to your natural humidity.
If it were me, I’d probably just pot it in a small pot. Snake plants will propagate in straight up soil too, it can just be a bit slow at times. As small a pot as possible, no bigger than 4”, snake plants like small pots and being root bound. Put it inside a planter so the leaf doesn’t make the pot fall over.
