    They grow wild in my garden. I have to regularly take out shoots or they would take over.

    I have four in flower at the moment and they’re magnificent.

    Did you plant the seeds directly in the ground or raise seedlings indoors first or what?

    My neighbour has one growing in our communial garden it’s just come into flower and looks stunning!

    Funny thing is, we have loads of these in the garden and have to pull them up since they are killing everything else around them!

    I’ve given up on Pinniana, I just stick to the small frost hardy ones now which are still gorgeous but no where near as stunning as these beasts! Congratulations!

    They grow like weeds where my uncle lives in Falmouth, self-seeding everywhere and growing out of cracks in pavements.

    Also, bear in mind they die after flowering, so you might want to collect some seeds (and also nurture any self-seeded ones).
