You line it with pond liner (shocking, I know!)…..the manner in which you are asking, it seems like you are a gardener getting paid to do this? If so, I should have a word with the owners. They have clearly hired the wrong man for the job.
It’s only a little pond I would possibly opt for pond clay instead of pond liner. lasts a life time and is natural 🙂 I’m no expert but I added iris, oxygen plant and Lillie’s to my little pond.
Relining shouldn’t be to hard, liner looks to be pinned under the rocks so remove measure what you take out and buy new (may have to buy more than you need as that looks small) good to have a little sand in there to help stop further punctures (should already be some although as it’s so small you may find there isn’t) even if there is check for any sharp stones etc that may of caused the first puncture then put the liner in as tidily as possible (you will have creases) then if you can fill with rainwater from a butt then pin it back down, worth speaking to a local garden centre and trying to get native plants including oxygenators as it is a nature pond, good luck
