Looks pretty good, maybe a little leggy, so maybe move it closer to a window? Also check to see if the roots are tied because that can kill off some of the stalks with root rot.

Sometimes the plant is tied just below the soil line (ive heard it helps with the braided trunk). If you dig down into the soul there might be a rubber band or twist tie that’s causing the plant to do this.

I wonder if this could be the start of a bacterial infection caused by irregular watering or staying too wet for too long. The discoloration on some of the middle leaf veins makes me think it’s more than just a watering issue. Look into using diluted hydrogen peroxide for soil health and low-level treatment maybe? It can be used at different concentrations based on how sick the plant is (although too high of a concentration or straight HP will make the root cells explode). I usually do about one cup of HP per gallon of water.
