It’s designed for strawberries. You put a couple strawberry plants in top, then when they make runners, you root the runner tips into the side holes. That’s the whole reason it has the holes instead of being normal shaped. It’s a grow pot and prop station all in one.

It’s a pot made for strawberries, but I would think anything that sends out shoots with daughter plants on it the way strawberries do would grow wonderfully in that pot.
