Das ist also David, er ist eine Art Sukkulente und in letzter Zeit unglaublich groß geworden. Ich habe recherchiert und herausgefunden, dass er mehr Licht braucht, also habe ich ihm eine Wachstumslampe besorgt, die auf Rot/Weiß-Licht im Zwölf-Stunden-Zyklus eingestellt ist.
Jetzt ist er jedoch zu groß, um noch herauszuwachsen. Er war heute Morgen gebeugt, also habe ich ihn an einen Strohhalm gebunden. Ich würde gerne wissen, ob ich irgendetwas tun kann. Ihn kürzen oder seinen Kopf abschneiden und ihn neben ihn pflanzen? Ich weiß, dass es Möglichkeiten gibt, das mit Kakteen zu machen.
Ich möchte, dass mein Junge gesund ist. Er wird sehr bald, spätestens in einer Woche, einen größeren Topf bekommen, damit er in alle Richtungen mehr Platz hat

Chop and prop. Don’t get a larger pot. Try 16 hours of grow light.
You can chop him and place the top directly next to David. It’ll eventually grow into the soil! Then you’ll have David and David Jr

What is the wattage or strength (lumens) of your light?
You may want to put it 3-6″ away from the plant, above the plant (not to the side)
Use books or something similar to elevate the light.
Chop it on the blue line, peel off the leaves with blue dots, and stick the whole stem back into a pot so it’s flush with the soil. It will grow. You can pull off more leaves if necessary or shop a bit shorter off the stem if you need.

David is a Sempervivum that is extremely starved for light. This is etiolation, the plant is actively damaging and weakening itself to find more light. A new light is good, unfortunately etiolation is largely permanent damage without a chop and prop. The bottom part might not regrow again if cut, but if you behead it where the new growth is healthier, the head should form new roots if set down on succulent soil.
