  1. Dianthus or pinks – a great perennial . Bloom from early spring to late fall. Cut back old blooms for resurgence. Will be a colorful addition to your garden. Plant cuttings (yes believe it’s true) and they will root. I collect different colors/varieties so you can build a garden staple. Great for pots. My garden center didn’t want to discussed this plant at the counter because it’s so prolific you don’t need so many annuals. Dianthus will come up year after year.
