My sister lives in Brussels, she asked me about buying “bird of paradise”..
I said, don’t bother, they take seven years to flower..
After seeing yours, I shall keep my mouth shut for a longtime😂…they’re stunning 🇮🇪x

How pretty. Where do you live? True story When my husband and I first moved to Florida in the USA. We started our garden. We went shopping and saw the beautiful Bird of paradise all in bloom. We bought many. While loading our haul into the car, accidentally a flower came out. Then I pulled one, out it came. Then another and another!!! They had put flower picks in to represent what was eventually going to happen. We returned them. It was funny. Enjoy your stunning patch of paradise.

Beautiful, thank you for sharing. I’ve never seen them in their natural habitat! Simply gorgeous
So pretty – we have the same plants too in our yard and they have really sprouted in the last 2 weeks despite the heavy rain and cold. It adds a little sunshine of color to these darker months for sure!
Wow, just beautiful. Would love to have them in my garden as well, but our winters won’t let me.

What a beauty! Tell how you take care of them pls. I tried to plant them last year but only 1 survived) Now I see your charming bloom of a whole group and I’m curious)))

This is absolutely gorgeous! My Mamá always had these in her garden growing up, so seeing one in full bloom like this always feels like a little slice of home to me. I’m currently trying to grow one in my home office to bring some color to the room, but it’s definitely not looking this happy yet. Whatever you’re doing, keep doing it, that orange is stunning! 🧡
