Looks like a cordyline, but I can’t say what’s wrong with it by just a picture. How much light does it get? How often do you water? How much does the soil dry in between waterings? How long have you had it? Have you ever repotted?

do you water with tap water? that usually is the cause

These guys like a lot of humidity and can get crispy if the humidity levels drop too low
