we call all pepper plants “papryka” in Poland – not only plants but also their fruit and spices made of them – bell pepper is “papryka słodka” and spicy peppers are “papryka ostra”
Edit: the word “papryka” was borrowed from Hungarian AFAIK
in england we just call them peppers.
In Australia they’re capsicums.
In the German-speaking parts of Switzerland, we call these *Spitzpepeperoni* (pointy pepper) to differentiate them from *Peperoni* (bell pepper).
The Germans call them *Spitzpaprika* and *Paprika*, respectively.
In the French-speaking parts of Switzerland, they call these *poivrons longs* (long peppers) to differentiate them from *poivrons* (bell peppers).
In the Italian-speaking parts of Switzerland, they call these *Peperoni Ramiro / Kapia* (variety names for types of sweet long pointy red peppers) and *peperoni*, respectively.
In the Romanche-speaking parts of Switzerland, they call bell peppers *paprica* or *piperon*, respectively, depending on dialect, and I can’t remember ever hearing a speaker of Romanche mention *Spitzpaprika*, so I don’t know what they’re called.

In New Zealand they’re Capsicums – but the variety you’ve got doesn’t look like something we’d call capsicum; its a bit too narrow
