Generally speaking, I would keep the perennials (herbs and Milkweed especially) in their own corner so that you don’t have to work around them so much. I’ve gardened in 6B for over 15 years and while you can pack a lot in a 20’x20′, you’re right you have too many seeds lol. For starters, I would say look up “companion planting” to know what to plant and what NOT to plant next to each other and the book “The Joy of Gardening”, while it’s an old book, everything in it still works very well and it will help you maximize what you plant. For tomatoes, I like to plant in a pattern of 4 plants, then 3 plants with zinnias at each outside edge, then back to 4 plants (about 5′ wide rows). I didn’t see Zinnias on your list, but trust me, they are VERY rewarding, best to start them ahead if you can. For peppers, I would plant alyssum or lobellia with them. For corn, I like to interplant with sunflowers, you also don’t need 4 rows of corn but I fidn they support each other better if I plant them in twins (2 corn then 2 sunflowers). Beans interplanted with the corn also works well since it will help to supress weeds. Try to put squash and melons at opposite ends of the garden from each other and as far away from beans as you can. Beans just attract so many insects that love squash. I would also add borage to plant with your marigolds all over the garden or as a border. So easy to grow and amazing for attracting pollinators and beneficial insects and they are edible. For lettuce, plant in the shady side of your corn or in between rows. For a whole family, you don’t need that much lettuce, like 2’x4′ is more than enough. Also only 3 zucchini plants, you’ll be swimming in them. I like to plant savoury in with my onion sets, so successful for both. Not sure how much help this was lol, but feel free to ask me questions if you have any.
