One of them will die as they have different water requirements. If you follow the tree’s needs then the succulents will drown, if you follow the succulents needs the tree will die of thirst.
The succulent won’t hurt the tree, but it needs a lot less water than your orange tree. Eventually, the pot will become crowded with the orange tree’s extensive roots, and also, the orange tree will eventually cast too much shade on your succulent, which likes more sun.
