I use a plastic cup as a humidity dome! I think it has been the key to success. I used to treat the SoP as a succulent (which is why she looked like that a year ago), but it actually seems to looove high humidity. 🙂
You’re giving me hope with mine! We’re in recovery mode now. Maybe I should move it back to my IKEA cabinet

I’m the local SoP whisperer. They do great at ambient humidity, but they love water and sun! The humidity dome is likely just keeping the soil moist longer. You can probably balance it out by watering more frequently if you wanted to transition to room air!
I have this single clip of a string that I keep forgetting about. It and its roomies were free gifts with purchase. First I forgot about it in a prop box for months, then months in this Lechuza dupe I make. After writing this I’ll forget about it for months again.
