It could potentially grow but the leaf looks like it’s turning yellow? You can try (I’m not an expert by any means) and add a good quality light or put it in a proper window/place with light and see if it grows more. I couldn’t tell you what kind of soil but it needs nutrients and light for sure. But don’t overwater. Make sure it goes into a proper sized planter (too big will cause the roots to rot).

It’s rooting so I think it should be good to go? I’ve planted cuttings in a similar state. Might be pothos. I’m not an expert.

Yes it will grow. It’s yellow because water doesn’t offer it much nutrients. Most likely pothos

This is a pothos, looks to be a golden, they do excellently propagating!! I have done SO MANY different pothos propagations! I’ve also put them in soil way before they get to this point and they survive just fine!! I cannot explain this the same way an expert might so I may word things wrong & get details wrong, but; it might have a bit of trouble getting used to the soil but just try make sure you keep the soil a bit moist for a while as the roots are obviously used to water and not soil. I’ve never had an issue with pothos props though! I have the happiest golden that I got from a few leaf cuttings and she’s absolutely thriving! Best of luck!! 🙂

Does it have a node or is it just the leaf? If there’s no node it’s likely a zombie leaf. It can root and survive for a while but never grow.

The roots are fine, but it won’t grow a plant because it’s just a leaf without a node.

My friend at work has a leaf that fell off her pothos, she put it in water and it grew roots too! I was surprised. I told her it wouldnt grow because it didnt have a node. But I was wrong. But now I learned about zombie leaves!
