Hallo zusammen.

I forgot the name of them but I’ve gotten several of them and that same thing happened to them all. I’m definitely not buying it again, but best of luck!

What soil is it in, and does the pot have draining holes? It’s one thing to soak a plant, it’s another to let it sit in all that water

    3. Over watered and check the type of soil (high draining type) and that your pot has draining holes. This plant doesn’t like too much or to be sitting in water. For this one, you might have to check for root rot.

dieffenbacia, looks like. variety? who knows, need leaves for that ;-p

dying, likely overwatered. salvageable. (depending on rot, if case.) needs to have all those dying leaves removed (cut between the main plant stem and the leaf-snip the petiole (the stem that attaches the leaf to the main plant stem), midway. do NOT try to rip/peel off.

remove from pot, remove ALL soil. check for rot. if stanky, place stems bases/roots in hydrogen peroxide (3%) for about 1/2 minute, rinse, look. see/smell any rot ? (you’ll know)post a pic if not sure exactly how to deal 🙂

dump the soil and change for aroid mix. water once. do not let saucer stay w/ the water. let the pot drain completely. water ONLY when top 1/2 dry. use a bamboo kebab skewer to check for moisture like a ‘dipstick’ prior to watering again.

      dieffenbachias hate wet feet.

      g’luck 🙂

Deiffenbachia “Reflector” one of my favourite Dumb Canes, but in my experience, one of the fussier ones.
