      Look at the bottom of the pot, if you can see a few roots growing outside the pot then it should be easy to transplant. This is what I look for when transplanting cuttings so I don’t rip roots.

      Water it the day before. Use fresh soil and clean pot. The zinnia should be fine. Good luck!

      They’re fine to transplant. I heard that too but when I did it, the 6 zinnias I transplanted did as well or better than the direct-sown ones.
