Iâve literally been searching for a Hindu Rope at all of my local houseplant specialty stores and havenât been able to find it! But on a random last minute trip to the grocery store for Thanksgiving supplies I find one for under $15!!! Fucking score

I absolutely love these plants but have had to get rid of every single one that Iâve owned, even a gorgeous variegated one. They are a nightmare if they ever get mealy bugs. So word of advice, try as hard as you can to keep it clean and safe! There are a million and one folds and crevasses those nasty things will hide in and fester.
Here she is in her new home! Much cuter than the plastic orange one

I just found a 4in section of one fully rooted at a local thrift event for like 3 dollars. I was beyond happy about that.

Youâd be surprised what you can find at grocery stores. Most of my plants are from grocery stores cause thatâs literally the only place I really leave my house for. Just donât be that person thatâs putting it in your cart at the beginning of your trip and then putting it back at the end cause you pulled a bunch of cuttings as you shopped (or dug for corms đ€Ł).

I love my local King Soopers for houseplants, they have a big selection and Iâm always stalking the little clearance table for plants Iâve gotten for just a few dollars!

Fryâs has these often. I bought one on clearance that ended up having bugs. Gave up on trying to save it. Saw another at a different Fryâs and as I was inspecting it, same type of bug crawled out. Now, I notice these plants but not going to get one from there. Just a word of caution for youâŠkeep an eye on it.
