Put them in a yoghurt pot with a bit of soil.
Transplant them in a couple of weeks.
You can either plant these out or to use them take out the growth by halving them. This is good practice anyway as this part of the garlic is not digestible in the stomach.
Yes you can grow them, just look up the growing dates and when to sow them.
If you have a garden stick them in the ground, this is the time of year to be planting garlic. If you’re thinking houseplant, they’ll die pretty quick. You could also just cut the sprout and core out and shove the rest in your pasta!
Pop them in your garden.
You can also just eat them sprouted.
Stick it in some soil in a pot and put it outside…get some homegrown!! I did this last year with two full bulbs from the back of the fridge and got about 18 plants!
Someone recently told me you can stick them in a glass of water and let the shoot develop, then use it like a spring onion!
Yes they will grow but cloche them, alternatively eat them and for stronger taste cut them in half and remove any green growth
Plant them in soil outside. They need the cold during winter to split into bulbs (= vernalisation).
That’s called the germ..
Just cut the base off, cut vertically down the middle and take the germ out. Use the remaining part of the garlic as nornal
I just shove them in other plants’ pots outside and forget them and then sometimes find surprise garlic in the garden
Grow them or eat them, it’s up to you!
Pop into a pot with soil
