Hallo, ich habe einen Geldbaum, der etwas Pflege vertragen könnte – ich schaue nur, ob jemand Tipps geben kann, wie man der Pflanze das Leben gibt, das sie verdient!
Was das Wachstum angeht, tut die Pflanze nicht wirklich viel. Ich habe Fotos von diesen Pflanzen gesehen, die wirklich voller Blätter sind, aber meines bleibt irgendwie so, wie es ist.
Ich habe sie Anfang des Jahres umgetopft, sie wird den ganzen Frühling und Sommer über gefüttert, und obwohl sie keine Blätter mehr abwirft, bildet sie kaum noch neue Blätter.
Ich denke, dass es mehr Licht braucht. Was ist also die beste Position dafür? Die Lichtverhältnisse in meiner Wohnung sind nicht besonders gut, daher befindet sie sich derzeit an einem nach Norden ausgerichteten Fenster. Die meisten meiner Pflanzen sind nach Südwesten ausgerichtet, aber zusammen mit den anderen ist für diese Pflanze kein Platz.
Ich bin in Großbritannien, falls das hilft.

PS: Ich habe Anfang des Jahres die Krawatte entfernt, die die Stämme zusammenhielt, da ein Stamm verfault war.

How long does the soil take to completely dry out? That loos like a lot of soil to me. Consider the amount of foliage you have I would go with a smaller pot or make sure it drains well. I keep my money plant on the dry side. If it is not getting a lot of sun it really doesn’t need a lot of water.
If you want to grow more leaves you need to find a way to give it more light. Maybe add a grow light.
Wow…. That is a huge planter pot for such a small tree! It is likely drowning.
The root system of a money tree is much smaller than the average houseplant.
It stays indoors, so I feed it year round. I water when the moisture meter hits 3 and I feed it half-strength with each watering. Currently using dynagro 9-3-6 and Maxsea 16-16-16, whichever is closer when I water.
That plant can have full sun in the morning and evening and I highly suggest it.
Included a picture of a tree I’ve had for a few years. Its happy most of the time. See how small the planter pot is? It likes to be snug.

Thank you both for your replies. I am going to move this back into a much smaller pot. The soil is quite damp so it might be a good idea to leave it unpotted to let the roots dry out?
I’ll look into a grow light as well. It’s not in a dark room by any means but I feel it could get more light than it does.

So I have got it back to what I think was its original size (more or less). Should I go further and really expose the roots or just leave it as it is to dry out? It’s damp rather than wet. The trunks feel solid enough. I haven’t noticed any horrible smell either.
She’s beautiful. That’s how mine looked when I bought it!
