      I feel your pain. Got into this “I’ll grow my own food!” kick a few years ago. Spent around $200 on potting soil and containers for a container garden. Spent hours anxiously fussing over my plant babies – feeding, watering, spraying, picking off the damn caterpillars. Net result? 12 tiny cherry tomatoes and a handful of basil. Much respect to farmers.

      You must enjoy your bounty. Have one now, and dry the other for your December feast. The big dilemma here is…do you eat the small one now and only get a little bit of juice, but more fruit in December or do you eat the big one now with all that juice but only a little dried strawberry in December. Let us know what you pick.
