Meine Orchidee hat ihre Blüte beendet. Ich habe Angst davor, die Zweige zurückzuschneiden, da die Blumen jedes Jahr zurückkommen, aber das ganze Gewicht liegt auf einer Seite, sodass die Pflanze nicht flach steht! Lohnt es sich, die Äste ganz nach hinten zu schneiden? Jeder Rat ist willkommen, ich möchte meine Pflanze nicht töten, sie sieht in der Blüte immer großartig aus (auf der einen Seite 😅)

That is one magnificent flower branch! I understand why you’re hesitant to cut it. It won’t kill the plant though and I can see new flower spikes from the main plant, so you don’t actually need the older ones if you’re tired of them. It will definitely still bloom regardless of cutting the older branches or not. Maybe you could just cut some of it off, like 50%? The old branch will still be able to flower and make new flower spikes if you just leave some of the nodes (the little nubs where branches grow from).
I used to leave mine but it seemed like if it decided to put out more flowers on em they’d be in rather meager numbers compared to new spikes. Now I chop em back, nothing crazy just short enough that the remaining bit is outta the way under the leaves.
