Hallo Leute, ich bin 25 m groß und wollte mit der Gartenarbeit beginnen. Ich habe erst kürzlich ein Grundstück gekauft und die Bilder zeigen den Vor- und Hintergarten, in dem ich Pflanzen anbauen kann.
Ich möchte fragen: Sind Hochbeete besser oder direkt in den Boden gepflanzt?
Ich weiß nicht, welche Art von Boden ich habe.
Da mein Budget knapp ist, kann ich mir nichts Teures oder Verrücktes leisten.
Ich werde Blumen im Sonderangebot kaufen, etwas neue Erde ausbringen und sie auf diese Weise entweder in die Erde oder in ein Hochbeet pflanzen.
Irgendwelche Ratschläge für irgendetwas als Neuling? Oder haben Sie bitte eine Idee, was ich mit dem Vor- und Hintergarten machen kann?

Get to know local gardeners. They will gradually give you cuttings, which should even suit your soil.
First things first. Sort out the fence.
Then decide what you want. Do you want a garden for food, for flowers, pollinators, general wildlife, high maintenance, or low, etc ?
Yeah you want to fix the fence up nicely before anything else otherwise you will end up trampling your new plants trying to fix the fence…
Next thing after that is to dig. This will tell you the depth of the soil and if it is clay / sand / whatever, and how deep it is.
It will also give you a chance to remove any rubble, broken glass, unexploded wartime bombs (joke) but anything you do not want in your soil.
Now you have an idea of what you have (or have not), you can start deciding “do the plants I want need deeper soil (make a raised bed for this) etc etc.
Talk to neighbours , if you see anyone pottering in a garden in the street , say hi!
Despite all the experts and professionals , all we really do is try stuff and it either goes well or it doesnt and the plant dies.
If you can find out why a plant dies / doesn’t thrive, great try and fix that. If you cant find out why or you can’t fix, try something different. That is really all there is to it 🙂
