Brugmansia Suaveolensauch als Angels Trompeten bekannt. Diese waren schon immer ein Favorit von mir und ich dachte, ich würde mich versuchen, einen Sämling zu wachsen, den ich in meinem Kindergarten gefunden habe. Einfach mein befriedigendes Gartenprojekt aus dieser Saison.
Diese Blüten sind absolut atemberaubend – riesig und auffällig mit einem starken Duft, der nach wirklich gutem Parfüm riecht. Es ist eine Schande, dass sie so giftig sind, sonst würde ich mein Haus mit diesen nächsten Jahr auskleiden!

I fondly remember seeing them frequently in Los Angeles especially in the backyard of my aunt and uncle’s house in Pasadena.
Lovely- but keep an eye out for hornworms, they’re voracious gobblers of many kinds of plants, including brugs.
