They’re achochas aka fat babies! Definitely not bitter gourds. You can roast, stir fry or braise them. I prefer stir frying or braising them. I tend to go Chinese style with them since they remind me a little of some Chinese gourd dishes I had when I was younger

Definitely an achocha. They cook rather like green peppers, if that’s helpful for inspiration. Good stir fried or (possibly only if picked bigger – I’m unsure of the scale of this photo) stuffed with a meaty filling similarly to how you’d stuff a pepper.

In Nepali it is called “Chuche Karela” which translates to pointed gourd. I think in English it Is called slipper gourd.
