How? You pick what you want to be the main shoot and just kinda work around it
Best is probably to do it in two passes a yr apart so as not to stress it out too much
But I’ve ignored that advice once this yr, and am soon to do so again
Splendid piece of advice i saw here once is that the best time to prune is when you have pruners in your hand, look at a plant and think: that needs pruning
