Don’t know if this sub will have much help, most bonsai are to be kept outdoors but I don’t know about this species
You’ll probably get much better advice in r/bonsai

There’s a sub specifically for Bonsai 🙂 maybe asking there would help as well

Do not overwater it. I let my Ming Aralia fully dry out until the leaves droop before watering. Think of it like a cactus, and it will outlive you.

I have an Aralia Balfour and it *will not die*. I’ve really neglected it at times and I’m shocked it’s still thriving somehow. I keep mine in low light and water it like 2-3x a month. All that to say, it’s very low maintenance in my experience so if you care for it some, it should thrive no problem
