Ich habe das Glück, dass Trauben in meinem Vorgarten (London) wachsen lassen. Letztes Jahr haben wir sie in der letzten Septemberwoche geerntet und sie waren wirklich süß und lecker. Angesichts des warmen Sommers, den wir hatten, fragte ich mich, ob diese vorab bereit sein könnten. Ich habe neulich einen probiert und war immer noch ziemlich sauer.

    1. I don’t know why I am chipping in because I got it horribly wrong last year and harvested far too late. I’d just keep checking and tasting them regularly until they seem ready. It’s a long way until the first frosts so there’s no hard limit coming up.

      Taste a few from different clustersgrapes dont ripen off the vine. When seeds are brown, berries sweet and easily detach, and the bloom is waxy, harvest on a dry morning.

      They looks great! My vine is only 2 years old and we had 3 small bunches (nothing last year), but the leaves died off in the heatwave last week whilst we were on holiday and the fruit ripened.

      you need to wait at least one week, for sure, now they are sour, don’t pick them

      Usually late summer to early fall. Best to taste test over a week or two
