Grüße! Unser Nachbar hat diese massive Hecke, die es schafft, die Niederschläge daran zu hindern, die Betten auf unserer Seite des Zauns zu erreichen. Wir hatten jemanden, der es geschafft hat, eine gewisse Höhe zu verschneiden (2. Bild), aber das war ihre Grenze. Ist das eher ein Job für einen Baumchirurgen? Die beste Option wäre, dass der Nachbar einige Höhe daraus schneiden würde, aber er zögerte dies. Ansonsten dachte ich daran, die höchste Stativleiter einzustellen, die ich finden konnte, und mich davon abhacken!

Surely you could reach that with some telescopic loppers?
Your neighbour has no obligation to reduce the height, even if it’s affecting your garden. You can, however, leave the arisings for your neighbour to dispose of. This does look like a tree surgeon job, but a step ladder and long arm loppers could definitely sort this too.
My neighbour has a massive tree that at some point in a day creates a shadow in half of my garden. I want it down. They have no money. Tree people quoted thousands of pounds. I live with that. Hating the tree. But for the money saved l can buy any organic food and more that l would grow in that shady space. So you need to do the maths sometimes and give up. Planted hydrangea there hehe;) thriving !
