    It’s hard to know until you try. It’s just a leaf so I’d typically say no but it looks like it’s from a succulent (haworthia maybe?), it’s possible. Lay it on dry dirt with indirect sun, and wait. If it has any amount of stem tissue left behind on the leaf, then you have a chance for propagation.

    Yes. Stick the wide end in soil and water when dry. You’ll have a new aloe Vera plant in no time.
