As long as everything is dry (looks like a couple leaves may be wet?)
Id’ personally remove those damaged older leaves. Doing so will expose a bit more stem, giving the plant more stability in the soil while it roots. You don’t want to plant any of the leaf below the soil, as that can promote rot.
