Hallo. Ich hatte eine schöne Art von Lilys sehr groß (nicht sicher, was für ein neues Haus), ich glaube, sie sind eine für die Saison (Bild 4). Schneide ich sie ab (wenn ja, wie weit) oder lasse sie für den Rest des Sommers und mache es im Herbst. Nochmals wie weit schneide ich sie? Danke!

Hello,I have the same Lily’s and they did the same thing I just cut them down and left the bulbs in the ground 😇
those are orange lilies – beautiful!! i believe you can deadhead them after the flowers start to die, which will prevent seed production. they grow from a bulb so you will probably want to leave all of the leaves so the bulb can keep storing energy, and only remove the flowers.
i’ve never grown these personally, but i have grown other bulb flowers that have similar care needs! best of luck with them!!
First off, your lilies are/were beautiful!
What I learned is that when the flowers are spent and fall off, you should deadhead that seed pod part. This means snapping off the top portions where the flowers used to be. It’s easily done by hand. See the red circled areas as two examples. I didn’t circle all. Doing so helps direct energy and nourishment into the bulb rather than seeding, ensuring healthy plants the next year.

After the above, I would leave the stalks be until they turn brown, which may take weeks. Then you can cut off the brown stalks down to ground level.
