Most likely leaf cutter bees. Look for some leaves around your garden with perfect arcs chunked out of them, they like my roses most for it.

    2. Leaf cutter bee! Look out for holes in plants nearby they might have cut from 😁

Leaf Cutter bee. We recently watched one go about his business and it was fascinating. Then found the cutouts he’d made on our lupins!

The leaves look amazing after they hatch out if you can get them all out, they perfectly stack on top of one another like little beakers

    5. Omg… I found the exact same thing in my insect house yesterday and wondered the same thing! Maybe it’s the time of the year for them to be laying eggs… 🥰

Leaf cutter bee. It’s the only bee I’ve ever seen use our bee hotel. It’s great to watch the bee fly over and over to the same tree it uses to cut the leaf, docile little critter, doesn’t care how close I get to it, Just goes about it’s job. Love watching it go about its work, worth the watch if you ever see yours flying around.

It’s fun to watch them flying with the little circles of leaves too 🐝
