Hey Leute, in der Hoffnung, dass jemand hier mir helfen kann, bevor ich meinen Verstand verliere.
Ich ging raus, um nach meinen geliebten asiatischen Lilien zu sehen und… oh noooooo! Totales Gemetzel. Jedes einzelne Blatt wurde gegessen. Es sieht so aus, als ob es ein Lily Leaf -Buffet auf der Speisekarte für einige Fehler gab. Ich glaube, ich habe einige Lily -Käfer entdeckt, die es in der anderen Woche auf den Markt gebracht habe.
Alles, was übrig bleibt, sind nackte Stängel und diese seltsamen kleinen, schotenartigen Dinge steckten überall. Sie sehen fast aus wie winzige bräunliche Koffer oder Eier? Oder vielleicht Insektenkacke? Oder außerirdische Larven?
Was auch immer es ist, es kam schnell und schlug hart. Ich vermute, es sind Lily -Käfer, aber ich bin mir nicht zu 100% sicher, und ich bin mir nicht sicher, was die „Schoten“ sind.
Kann mir jemand helfen:
- Identifizieren Sie, was das ist?
- Sagen Sie mir, wie ich es entfernen kann (organisch, wenn möglich – ich versuche keine chemischen Pestizide zu verwenden)?
- Lassen Sie mich wissen, ob es im nächsten Jahr Hoffnung für meine armen Lilien gibt – wie der Lampenlampen -Toast oder kann ich sie retten?

I had this in my garden, the culprit is the red lily beetle. The brown lumps are their larvae wrapped up in their own waste. I saved a lot of my lilies by dipping the affected leaves into warm soapy water and washing the larvae off, and chucking in any adults I came across (it felt less icky than squashing them). It took a while the first couple of times but I went around the garden every couple of days to clear them off when they reappeared and managed to save most of them, but definitely wear gloves as with some its easier to just scrape them off with wet gloves.
Personally I cut my lilies down to about a foot after they’ve flowered and they come back each year so I’ve just done that again this year and given them a feed. They have two chances. Hope that helps x
So sorry to hear about this. I had the same in previous years – you become quite brutal when you see the beetles and crush them.
They’re clever little blighters and if you disturb them, they fall and land on their backs so their red shell is not visible.
Umbrella upside down under the plant, walk away for a bit, the beetles will then climb back up, disturb the plant, catch beetles in brolly and dispatch
