The only kind of spider I’m not scared of. Always welcome in my home 😀

Can I ask how you keep you pink spot begonia happy? Mine absolutely hates me

    7. I have these guys living outside my house, never seen one indoors. Can I catch one and place him on a pest infested plant? Or will he just die indoors?

    8. Awww, they are adorable! And I speak as somebody with major fear of spiders.

Jumping spiders are so intelligent. They’re almost as smart as crows and can recognize your face too. Like you personally

I live on my boat, and I have a single ant that hangs out on my lemon tree. I’m tied to the dock right now, so he goes back and forth along my lines from the boat to the dock. Just the one guy so I let him hang out. He doesn’t appear to be destroying any of my plants/veggies.

I have a jumping spider guarding my begonia too! I had a juvenile when I first moved in my living room window. He eventually grew bigger and started wandering farther and farther away until he never came back. I think he left in search of females. In the last week of him hanging out near his window, a tiny speck of a spider appeared under the windowsill. It’s now grown into a jumper that’s about the size of the last one when I moved in! He alternates between hanging out with my begonia and my SOP.

I always welcome spiders in my home. In my last apartment, I had a black widow living under my fern. She was very well behaved and never left her corner. I was so sad when she died. Widow webs are gross, though. My new house mostly has jumpers and I appreciate that they don’t really make webs.

SO CUTE! I was thinking about raising some jumping spiders next year. Had a huge problem with ants and aphids working together. Is this little fella natural to your garden?

I’m so jealous, I’d love to have jumping spiders instead of the brown recluses I’ve been combating.
