Stick the stem in soil. Don’t water until it’s firmly rooted. Keep in full sun

I would break all the leaves off of the stem. Then I would lay them down on the surface of the soil to create five new plants.

Stick it in some chunky soil for succulents and ignore it

I’ve had a lot success placing the stem in water until it roots and then I plant it in soil.

I like to “find” loose pieces when I’m plant shopping. They live well in my pocket book. I can’t believe how fun it is to propagate things they will just sweep up

I would take off the lower two leaves , let the scars Calis by letting it rest for a few hours after you remove the leaves . Once the scars are calised I would just plant it directly into soil . You can use the two leaves you removed to also put those in the soil and have more chances at propagating.
