Just mushrooms. Probably Leucocoprinus birnbaumii. Just means the soil stays wet for extended periods of time
That yellow guy is the common houseplant mushroom, *Leucocoprinus birnbaumii*. It pops up in warm, moist potting mixes, but it does not hurt your elephant ear; it just munches on the organic matter in the soil. You can pinch off the caps and toss them if you do not like the look, let the top inch of mix dry between waterings, and give the pot a bit more light or airflow. If the sight still bugs you, repot with fresh sterile mix, but your plant itself is perfectly safe.
