Radish look great! If you want to sow more, do it in a staggered fashion (every 5 days or something until you cover the plot) so you don’t have another mountain of radish ready at once.

Also don’t let them get too big/tall, as the radish can then get really woody. If you do leave some, let them go to seed and you can eat the seed pods too!

    2. Beautiful! I love the leaves too, stir fried with garlic and olive oil.

Yes, slightly chewed radishes are fine to eat.

Cut out the chewed bits after washing if you or yours are a bit squeamish.

They look perfect. I grew some last year but the slugs got them so didn’t plant any this year and paradoxically I have seen very few slugs! That’s gardening for you! Good luck with the rest of your crops.

They look great OP, I don’t know about you, but the sense of pride I felt when I harvested my first crop of homegrown carrots, I think I showed them to everyone I knew and probably bored them to tears 😆, but it felt like such an achievement to me, because I’d never grown vegetables before. Well done.

You can quick pickle radish and it goes great with Asian food. I would suggest slicing as thin as possible then combining

      1 part vinegar
      2 part water
      Table spoon sugar
Some flavour (chilli flakes, peppercorns, whatever floats your boat)

Boil it, chuck on the radishes, leave. After 8 hours mine was great.

No idea how long it lasts but do it with some sticky rice, protein of choice, crunchy salad (raw peppers, grated carrot, cucumber, spring onion etc) and a nice condiment like hoisin or siriacha. Went down a storm.
