Do you know what kind of plant it is? Most plants won’t grow new plants from just a leaf. They can grow roots and live like that for a while but they won’t grow more leaves
I’d say to wait it out. They take time to root before growing up. The roots look happy, and ivy is known for its resilience.
Is that a tiny leaf underneath the big one in the last photo?
