I love stinking iris, I think it’s really underrated. I (hopefully) saved mine from rust last year and it looks great, so I’ve bought two more to fill in gaps elsewhere. I couldn’t find many other iris which were reliably evergreen.
It really does genuinely smell like beef stew if you cut the leaves, though. Very weird.
