Bug frass. You’ve got some kinda caterpillar that you haven’t noticed on it
You can see the caterpillar in the first photo. That is caterpillar poop, it’s eating the basil leaves.

In addition to this being caterpillar poo, the basil already looks like its starting to flower. If you plant it in soil it’ll just bolt. I reccomend just starting fresh with some seeds. They’re cheap and it grows quick.
